money

My relationship with money has historically been fraught with anxiety, scarcity and fear. And as I’m sure many artists can relate, I bought into the narrative that I was destined for life hovering around the poverty line, and I’d better have a Plan B... and C and D.... That having lots of money, and accumulating wealth was actually NOT very spiritual, and heaven forbid I buy something expensive that I worked hard for and brought me joy that could be perceived as ‘flashy.’ 🤢 🤮
F*ck. That.
Unraveling these beliefs cuts all the way down to my core- what I believe about my own worth and wheeeewwww it’s been a trek to the underworld of shadow beliefs steeped in legalistic Churchianity (ie money is the root of all evil) , starving artist archetypes, and damsel in distress BS.
Here are some of my favorite ways to feel abundant AF and align with the vibration of abundance:
🤑 Make money fun! Roll around in it, tend to it with levity and lightness, call it your ‘money garden’ or ‘dragons lair’. Make it play!
🤑 Affirm your worth, and play only in your ‘zone of genius’ (The Big Leap, put it on your 📚list!) Know what your time is worth and spend accordingly by doing only what lights you up✨
🤑 Tithe. This one I owe to my sister @live_your_wild, who tested the waters first, and y’all... it’s real and reclaimed in a way that feels so good! Take that 10% and give from your abundance to PEOPLE. Maybe you go on a wild GoFundMe spree, or venmo 20 of your closest friends some coffee cash.
I’m in it now, and it’s not always perfect, but it’s the medicine I NEED and I’m grateful for the wild financial ride I’ve been on. Here’s to our wealth 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂
